Red Studded Plaid Shirt

She Said:
Plaid has been around for a long time, I remember seeing Cher wear it with her 90’s skirt and knee high socks, very fashionable then and guess what that trend is back. It can be worn very woods-like like the guys from Duck Dynasty or classic as a plaid suit. I found this plaid studded top from Marshalls, my go to shopping spot for all things trending. I love the metal studs and it looks very Ralph Lauren going horseback riding. I added this tassel Stella and Dot necklace in mixed metals. I paired this plaid favorite with my distressed skinny True Religion Brand Jeans. They fit well into my Melissa Frye Boots which I think are a match made in heaven for a beautiful plaid shirt. I changed up my iphone case for this all American one from Charlotte Russe, love that the studs match my collar. So feeling very trendy I picked an oversized Phillip Lim for Target tote which holds everything I could possibly need! This is a great look for the holidays, where it is snowing or brisk, just add a jacket and you are set. Do you like plaid for fall?

He Said:
Today's outfit is a nice mix of casual and classy in plaid. I love how the flannel is paired with the necklace; it's what gives me that feeling of casual classy. She looks very approachable today and a down to earth nice girl. The best part of her outfit once again must go to her footwear. You almost can never go wrong with boots and I am starting to believe that more and more myself because I can't remember the last time I didn't like a pair of boots on her. She looks fashionable today without looking like she is trying too hard and that's always sexy.

Fall Day to Night Outfit

She Said:
I am so excited to be featured on Alexis's blog Access Alexis today, be sure to follow her on Twitter and Facebook! We came up with creating a look that takes you from working all day to going out at night with friends by adding a few items to transition the look. I kept it a little casual but still dressy enough if you were to go to a nice restaurant. My whole look is full of fall colors and cool weather ready. Starting with the basics, my blouse is a loose rose colored top from H&M, similar one here. I love the color and it is effortless to dress up. I love these Rich and Skinny jeans, and they fit perfectly in a great pair of ankle booties. If you remember this last post, I am still obsessed and adore the camel color with gold hardware, and cannot believe Forever 21’s selection this year for fall boots. I added a rose gold chain necklace from Baublebar, it is warm and adds a bit of glam along with my mixed metal Stella and Dot bracelet. This creates my work look, but I added some key pieces that work for night time. I chose this structured satchel from Shoedazzle in a taupe with rose gold hardware, I know so matchy today! Lastly, I added this new leather jacket from Macys that was a birthday gift and care for the glossy style it adds, with the sophistication posh-like feel. Going from work to out for dinner is easy, I kept my outfit with solid colors and added a jacket and drool worthy accessories to top off the look! Hope you all enjoy, now time for some cocktails.

Today’s outfit looks great… with the jacket. This outfit all together with her jacket looks amazing. I love the brown in her jacket and boots with the jeans/rose shirt adding separation. Even though her rose shirt does offer good separation it should definitely not be worn without the jacket. The rose top alone over exaggerates her figure and makes her look bigger than she is; this is really the nicest way of putting it. As long as she just remembers to never take her jacket off the outfit looks complete.

Plaid Wool Blazer

She Said:
Happy Monday everyone, the week of Halloween and the last week of October. So happy to bring a super fall look to the blog today! I am wearing a new blazer I just recently purchased from H&M, it has multiple colors making a sophisticated plaid print and elbow patches which makes me feel a part of Sherlock Holmes the movie! Though many may think I stole this out of my dads closet, this is not the case. I have been searching for a classic but trendy plaid blazer and this was a great price and quality. I chose a royal blue blouse with black piping underneath from Forever 21. It adds a pop of color but covered enough so it does not overwhelm. I remixed my AG jeans I wore last week with this outfit, but these cords are unbelievably soft! I matched my boots from Macy’s purchased a few years ago, but I love that these cover the heel for a modern appeal, similarly here is a pair of Fergie boots. I tied my hair in a low side ponytail and again chose my Tory Burch Robinson tote in black, simply effortless. It is almost Halloween what are you dressing up as?
He Said:
I love how this outfit has a masculine touch to it but it’s still sexy. The boots look perfect with her pants and the bag adds the contrast that is needed in an outfit like this. Her jacket reminds me of an English mans jacket which normally would not be a good thing but here she put this together so well that she was actually able to pull it off. I would have never guessed an outfit this masculine could look this good, she knocked this one if not out of the park at least far right field.
