Red Studded Plaid Shirt

Plaid has been around for a long time, I remember seeing Cher wear it with her 90’s skirt and knee high socks, very fashionable then and guess what that trend is back. It can be worn very woods-like like the guys from Duck Dynasty or classic as a plaid suit. I found this plaid studded top from Marshalls, my go to shopping spot for all things trending. I love the metal studs and it looks very Ralph Lauren going horseback riding. I added this tassel Stella and Dot necklace in mixed metals. I paired this plaid favorite with my distressed skinny True Religion Brand Jeans. They fit well into my Melissa Frye Boots which I think are a match made in heaven for a beautiful plaid shirt. I changed up my iphone case for this all American one from Charlotte Russe, love that the studs match my collar. So feeling very trendy I picked an oversized Phillip Lim for Target tote which holds everything I could possibly need! This is a great look for the holidays, where it is snowing or brisk, just add a jacket and you are set. Do you like plaid for fall?

Today's outfit is a nice mix of casual and classy in plaid. I love how the flannel is paired with the necklace; it's what gives me that feeling of casual classy. She looks very approachable today and a down to earth nice girl. The best part of her outfit once again must go to her footwear. You almost can never go wrong with boots and I am starting to believe that more and more myself because I can't remember the last time I didn't like a pair of boots on her. She looks fashionable today without looking like she is trying too hard and that's always sexy.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend, did you do some shopping? I shopped all weekend and found some amazing clothing deals, but I wanted to share some great Cyber Monday specials below! I wore this similar outfit for Thanksgiving dinner. This over sized blouse is so unique with an embossed fabric and faux sleeves, similar one here. Forever 21 have some amazing promotions 50% OFF! My Hudson coated skinny jeans are sexy and comfortable; they are a dark chocolate brown and fit like a glove. I always have a soft spot for a perfect pair of booties, great color, style and comfort. When Sole Society wanted to collaborate I knew these Helena booties were the one. They are so light weight, low cut and are in so many beautiful hues for fall. I picked cloud because they are something I don’t already have. HE also helped pick these out, along with this, Phoebe Printed Envelope clutch in a leopard print with soft linen canvas fabric was an accessory choice. The contrast of a wild print and dark tones make this a ideal fall look. I added a bold purple lip from MAC. I also used my Sultra Bombshell curling iron, posted here. My bracelets are a pretty sea foam color including this chain link and rhinestones from Brina Box and a jade bangle adding flare and sparkle. Today I learned what booties are and I love them. I always knew I liked them and really like the way they look and make her calves look but now I have a name to go with the obsession. I love the grays and blacks in this outfit it actually makes her animal print clutch look good, and that’s coming from someone who does not like animal print. The only thing I see that could make this outfit a little better would be if she added a long necklace, maybe a gold one to match her watch. Today’s outfit has a nice casual stylish look to it, you can see she looks comfortable but there was also an effort that went into it.

Fall Floral Blouse

She Said:

It is nearly Thanksgiving?! Can someone tell me where the time went? So in light of the upcoming holiday, I decided on a colorful blouse that reminds me of fall and the holidays. This blouse was last worn here; I love that I can wear it with any style of bottoms, that makes for a great piece in any wardrobe. This silk blouse is from the Phillip Lim collection for Target, the floral pattern and pastels really drew me in to purchase. I tucked this top into my leather BeBe tailored shorts, which are trending this fall. I paired my double chain Bauble Bar necklace, in rose gold to bring the pinks out in the top. I kept my accessories neutral because I wanted to the outfit to be captivating alone. This quilted chain clutch is such a classy purse to wear, it can be worn as a crossbody or on my shoulder as you see here. Lastly, I added one of my favorite pair of heels from Shoedazzle (sold out), these lace up the ankle shoes are trend setters! Here is a similar pair from Charlotte Russe. Today’s outfit I can appreciate, by appreciate I mean I will let this blouse slide; the reason this is possible is because Thanksgiving is around the corner, plus its fall. Other than her blouse everything else looks amazing today. Her shorts have got to be one of, if not the sexiest shorts, and when I see her heels its instant drooling. Her bag is cute but I am not big on her necklace, the necklace looks like a chain you purchased at home depot and spray paint it gold. I will just keep staring at her heels and shorts and I can stay happy and care a less about whatever else she has on.
