To coincide with the their new Chadstone store opening on Saturday 7 December, this week, I've teamed up with one of my favourite Australian designers, LIFE with BIRD, to bring you my favourite looks this festive season.

When it comes to party season, I generally head straight to dresses, so I thought I'd mix things up a little and style a range of different party favourites. The first look is shorts - who says you can't wear shorts to a party?

I love matching separates together and this pretty lilac tank/shorts combo are the perfect splash of colour, and this bomber is hands down one of my favourite pieces from the new LIFE with BIRD collection - so versatile and so chic.

I'm definitely a jumpsuit kind of girl and this one is beauty.

When I was in Los Angeles, I had the pleasure of picking my favourite pieces from local label, Flynn Skye and shooting with my girl Chanelle Leslie on Venice Beach.

This is the final instalment of our collaboration - check out part one (CALI GIRL) and part two (TEAM PARIS).

There's definitely something about LA which brings out my inner beach babe.

As mentioned in my last post (HERE), when I was in LA last week, I teamed up with friend, Chanelle Leslie, to shoot a California-inspired story. Here is part two.

In the last couple of years, I've been back and forth between LA and must say, it has quickly become one of my favourite cities. This time round, I chose to stay in the eclectic neighbourhood of Venice Beach, where I had the pleasure of meeting designer behind the label, Flynn Skye. An accomplished business woman, and genuinely kind and all round fabulous person.

Flynn Skye, represents the true essence of Venice Beach and the California-beach inspired lifestyle.

Just before I left LA, I had the absolute pleasure of catching up with good friend, and fellow Aussie blogger/photographer/ all round amazing chic, Chanelle Leslie. We always seem to meet coincidentally in new cities - you can check out our last collaboration here, shot in Sydney.

We kicked off the day with THE most delicious acai bowls from one of my favourite cafe's along Abbot Kinney, before strolling along Venice Beach, to soak up the last of LA's summer rays.

One of the best things about travel for me is catching up with friends, new and old, sharing new

experiences, and of course creating memories in new and exciting locations.

A great day spent - here is part one of our impromptu California shoot.

WITH LOVE FROM NAXOS

The Greek Islands - one of my favourite places on earth.

I'd visited Santorini before (where I write you now), but this trip was my first visit to the islands of Mykonos and Naxos.

Next, i'll post all my Greek Island travel tips, but I couldn't wait to share with you this beautiful dress, of local Greek label, Lucky Pig.

I first came across Lucky Pig, in a great little boutique in Mykonos Town - Sotris. I tried it on, drawn in by the beautiful appliqué and immediately had to have it.

One of my favourite parts of travelling has to be uncovering beautiful local brands and designers, which upon my return home, remind me of the beautiful memories I've experienced in any particular part of the world.

My wardrobe is more and more starting to reflect the places I've visited and is a constant reminder of the amazing things I've been fortunate to have seen and people I've met.
