Cold heart ♥

Od dłuższego czasu bierze mnie na przemyślenia dotyczące mojego życia. Co będzie za kilka lat? Czy coś się zmieni? Czy będę taka jak teraz? Czy może nabiorę jakiegoś nowego doświadczenia? Mam też na myśli błędy bądź może postępy w moim działaniu. Chciałabym być bardziej pewna siebie i dążyć do swojego celu już nie zmieniając zdania i chciałabym aby mi się to udało. Wam też kochani życzę abyście znaleźli swoje powołanie życiowe a jeżeli już je znaleźliście to trzymajcie się go, bo to może być coś co może Wam sprawiać największą radość. Bo przecież nikt nie chce kiedyś z ogromną niechęcią wstawać np. do pracy, dla mnie coś takiego jest bez sensu, warto jest robić to co się kocha no i oczywiście przy okazji żeby sprawiało nam ogromną radość. 

From long time takes me for thoughts about my life. What will happen in next few years? Will something change? Will I be like now? Might I will gain some new experiences? I mean also mistakes or progress in my demeanour. I would love to be more sure and seek to my goal and not changing my sentence. I also wish you babies to find your vocation in life and if you found it keep it, cause it may be something which will make you so happy. Cause nobody want to wake up to work for example, for me it's meaninglessness, it's worth to do something you love and ladle happiness with this.

Leather Forever

I couldn't really talk about wardrobe basics without at least one mention of a leather jacket, so I thought it was fitting to centre my final look for Stylebop.com around my ultimate can't-live-without-cliche. 

I really do live in my leather jacket. From in the summer with denim shorts and tees, to the winter with loads of layers both underneath and over the top, I would be pretty lost without it. I find it makes anything and everything just look better and feel more in tune with me - especially useful when it comes to dresses, florals or anything that could veer towards twee. Plus it really is one of those items that just as you think you've found the perfect one, another comes along to test both you and your wallet's willpower. This one by Faith Connextion ups the ante with the braiding at the back and the all important quilting on the sleeves (a detail that just makes a good one in my books).

A little black flared skirt and cream polo neck complete the picture with New Balance (aka the comfiest sponge-soles to grace my feet) taking the girly pieces to a much more casual place.

I’m breaking free from these memories ♥

Nadeszła jesień to znowu zaczęłam nosić się w burgundy, ten kolor kompletnie zawrócił mi w głowie. Zresztą zapewne nie pierwszy raz to słyszycie. Tym razem mam go "w wydaniu" swetra, który zdobyłam ze strony Sammy Dress. Znajdziecie tam wiele świetnych rzeczy, poczynając od ubrań kończąc na akcesoriach domowych, Sammy Dress to jeden z lepszych sklepów internetowych bo na paczuszkę też nie musiałam długo czekać. Ponadto cieszę się bardzo, że nadchodzi tydzień, w którym 3 dni będę miała wolnego i w końcu będę mogła odpocząć. Jest mi too strasznie potrzebne! :)

The fall came so I started to wore burgundy again, Im totally crazy about this colour. Anyway you don't hear it first time. This time I have this in sweater edition, which I bought on  Sammy Dress website. Boy Girl Basics

Part two of my basics story for Stylebop.com is probably most akin to the sort of thing you'll find me in day after day. Having spent most of my youth in jodphurs and riding boots, desperate to partake in anything horse-related, I think that silhouette of skinnies and flat ankle boots is something I'll always feel at home in. And for me, black leather trousers are as much a 'basic' as jeans, especially in the colder months, so finding the right ones is a task worth pursuing. These ones by Joseph are as close to perfect as I've come so far; just stretchy enough, zips at the ankle and buttery soft.

My current love for camel coats is no secret (chronicled both here and here) and the classic, mannish shape of this Theory one makes it even more of a 'forever' piece. Anyone seen Love and Other Drugs?  Yep, this coat makes me feel likes a (faux) 90s Anne Hathaway which is definitely a good thing. On a side not, I'm beginning to realise that red, or burgundy in this case, is the only colour I really wear. Unless we count denim as blue that is?

White Walling

I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to the cold - I've been known to shiver in 23 degree shade - so I have to admit, my legs have been firmly wrapped under jeans and leather trousers ever since the mercury dropped below 15 and bare skin was no longer an option. 

This weekend however, I made an exception (if only for this epic skirt by ALC) to shoot my first of three looks for Stylebop.com. I've joined forces with the luxury e-tailer to style up some looks around the theme of basics, or those kinds of pieces I'd be lost without season after season. Forget seasonal, frivolous purchases, these are the foundation for everything.

Case in point, a good chunky knit and a black leather skirt, both of which are on constant rotation in my wardrobe and there's always room for updates on these never-quite-enough essentials. 

I always feel a leather skirt, especially one as sexy as this (the biker details make all the difference), feels a bit less conspicuous when teamed with a jumper that's so cosy it's the sartorial equivalent of a hot water bottle. However, even with the thermal topping, this sort of get-up is much better suited to indoor pursuits with a radiator in close proximity if you ask me. Even this skirt couldn't sex-up goose bumps.

THE CRAZY (BUT YET SOPHISTICATED) CAT LADY

 This is most surely the sickest piece of clothing that I own for the moment. Because, behold:

 It has this hideous grumpy cat princess on it. Or cat queen.

And it's looking right into yur soul! Meeeow.

But I like it because it is so damn crazy.

Originally this is a dress; I was thinking of wearing it with huge hair lots of lashes and boots, sixties style, but my hips said no. So it became a blouse instead.

The "Cat Queen" dress is fro Sheinside; one of the items I got to pick for free.
The skirt is self made and the shoes a very old trustworthy pair.

Dream about Christmas ♥

Jest coraz zimniej, "w powietrzu" czuć zapach mandarynek, które wprost uwielbiam no i powoli po głowie zaczynają mi chodzić pomysły, aby zrobić jakieś świąteczne ciasto. Na razie chcę, żeby listopad zleciał szybko no i tylkoo grudzień mi się marzy, bo wtedy moje urodziny będą i święta, Sylwester czy Mikołajki i przede wszystkim atmosfera, która będzie nas wszystkich ogarniać. Czy Wy też tak pragniecie Świąt? 

It's getting colder, "in the air" I feel aroma of the mandarins, which i love and slowly i think about do christmas cake. Now I wan't to November pass and I dream about December, cause it will my b-day and christmas, New Year Eve or Secret Santa and what the most important atmosphere which will embrace us. Park Life

After a miserable day on Saturday spent cradling a cup of tea forlornly waiting for the rain to stop (it never did), Sunday proved to be one of those perfect, Wintery days where it's so sunny it almost makes you think the cold weather ain't so bad after all.

So as tempting as it was to stay under the the duvet all day long, we forced ourselves out of the door and into Hyde Park for a walk - if only to validate spending the rest of the day on the sofa. As you might of guessed from my previous post, a camel coat has been top of my list since we've delved firmly into sweater weather and the hunt is finally over thanks to Vestiare Collective. If you haven't used Vestiare before, its a resale site for designer and luxury fashion with both second-hand and new items up for grabs. There's no bidding like eBay so you can purchase your item straight away and everything's quality controlled so you know you're getting exactly what's stated. Plus, as it was originally founded in Paris (but has since opened an office in London), there's always plenty of French favourites from the likes of Isabel Marant, Vanessa Bruno, Iro, Sandro and Maje. 

This robe like coat is by Bash, and at £160 was a bit of a bargain when you consider Topshop and Zara's outerwear offerings sell for about the same. And maybe the one perk of being quite petite is that long coats really are just that. This one really does feel like I'm wearing a dressing down out and about.  But for someone who values comfort above all else, that's no bad thing.
