In keeping with last week's winter-fuelled Wardrobe Wednesday, I thought I would pay further homage to one of my favourite cold-weather accessories: The hat. The eternal warmer-of-heads and disguiser-of-bad-hair-days (you know what I'm talking about), the hat is the most versatile and transformative accessory at your disposal— and don't you forget it. And by you, I really mean me, because I'm the worst for neglecting even my most beloved accessories (#hoarderproblems). But that's why I love both you AND this WW column — you guys keep me honest.

Today I bring you, my second LIFE with Bird party look to get you through this festive season. In my last post, I mixed things up with a little sports luxe (HERE), but now it's all about effortless glamour. 

To me, there is something so romantic about a maxi skirt, and this incredible leopard print creates the perfect statement, worthy of turning heads. 

Top off this look with a few key accessories and you've got a perfectly trans-seasonal party ready look. The hat is a perfect addition if you're out and about all day in the beautiful summer sunshine - on trend and sun-smart.

{Wardrobe Wednesday} Winter Wear

When temperatures drop, I like to add bright layers and beautiful accessories to the mix to dull the pain of yet another winter. Pops of red, plaid and leather galore is the name of the game this time of year, so here are a few of my current favourites (including these delicious boots from Dr. Martens). She Said His Turn… to be styled - Thanksgiving Special

He Said:

This outfit is really all about comfort, like most of my outfits, last seen here, comfort comes first, and then style. My favorite accessory is a watch. Rubr Watch Nation allows you to pick your face and strap color. They make great stocking stuffers and are incredibly light weight. It goes with this sweater because it is thick and the collar covers the back of my neck to keep me warm. The jeans I love because they really look like something much nicer than just denim. The shoes I have had forever and you guessed it these baby’s are made for comfort. I love this style of hats but I sometimes think I look like andy capps when I wear them so I tend to avoid them, except today. I love a layered look, reminds me of holiday life time movie actors all dressed up. He wears it so well, especially the watch. The blue sweater brings out his eyes and it really is so nice to cuddle up in. His shoes are dressy but look comfortable and go well with a family gather, or night out. I like the polo shirt underneath and if any of your men need outfit ideas, here is one perfect for Thanksgiving.
